Macdonald Hotels & Resorts is set to complete its ongoing spa and leisure upgrade project, adding state-of-the-art leisure facilities to the hotel groups Vital Health and Wellbeing Clubs.

The project is designed to deliver the latest gym equipment alongside training services for guests and members ready to tackle the ‘New Year health kick’.

Equipment has been supplied by fitness retailer, Life Fitness.

Keith Pickard, hotel group director, said: “It is fantastic news that our leisure improvement programme has now been rolled out. The multi-million-pound investment reaffirms our commitment to providing guests with the very best state-of-the-art fitness and spa facilities, building on our already high standards.

“We know just how important our modern gyms and unique spas are to our guests especially at a time of year when many are on a health kick following the festive season – and we are excited to continue to provide market leading facilities.”
