Meliá Hotels to open new Liverpool Innside property

Meliá Hotels International, Spain’s largest hotel group, has announced it is to open a new Innside hotel in Liverpool on 16 August 2021.

Innside Liverpool will feature 207-rooms and will bring together a destination restaurant, panoramic sky bar, conference and event spaces, state-of-the-art fitness gym, and upscale modern suites.

Repurposing the former Echo and Daily Post building, the group said Innside Liverpool will “breathe new life” into one of the city’s most iconic structures.

Following over three years of “extensive” redevelopment, a new open plan lobby encourages guests to “meet, mingle and unwind” before enjoying a meal in the 140-capacity destination restaurant and a 24 hour fitness gym.

Situated on the 18th
 floor, guests will also be able visit the double heighted 360-degree Sky Bar, offering views over Liverpool and the River Mersey and which will also offer music from resident DJs.

In addition the design includes a dedicated events floor with capacity for over 340 people and separate catering.

The 207 rooms will vary featuring a large number of upgraded rooms for special occasions, including 25 upgraded Studio Rooms, 26 Townhouse Suites and one Condo Suite featuring a separate bedroom, living space and dining area.
