The Esplanade Hotel in Scarborough has undergone an extensive £1.5m interior, exterior and roof refurbishment.
The Grade II hotel, which is part of the Daish Hotel Group, has had 12 of its 73 bedrooms and bathrooms redone, an installation of a new women’s WC and external painting of all walls and window wood works.
In addition, the five-storey hotel has had its roof redone with 15,000 traditional slates over a 620sqm area.
The refurb was completed by Infiniti Group, a local roofing and construction business.
Alex Willgrass, group director at Infiniti said: “It is an incredibly satisfying feeling to now see the hotel fully finished and open as a result of all the work and effort that the Infiniti team have put in.”
The Esplanade Hotel is owned by The Daish Hotel Group, a family-owned and operated business which has hotels across England and Wales and purchased the hotel in 2020.
