Seven Kings ibis Styles Hotel to open this month

In this episode we speak to Anthony Hunt, partner and co-head of Corporate Real Estate at law firm Howard Kennedy. We discuss why 2026 may be seen as a pivotal year for boutique hotels, unpack the rise of global nomadism and how this is shaping demand and trends across hospitality, and how a strong team and clear, consistent messaging and offerings are key to securing investment.

Following its opening, the day-to-day operations and strategic management will be overseen by Black and White Hospitality

The new ibis Styles Hotel in Seven Kings, London is set to open its doors next week on 12 July 2021.

The 92-bedroom hotel is located next to Seven Kings tube station, and features an on-site restaurant and bar and coffee lounge. It was built and is owned by DSJ Homes Limited.

Following its opening, the day-to-day operations and strategic management will be overseen by Black and White Hospitality.

The new hotel has created up to 30 full and part time jobs, and aims to be the “cornerstone” for further regeneration in the area.

The hotel’s interior theme was reportedly inspired by the idea of ‘An Oasis in the City’, and features “touches of nature” with using green and autumnal colour palettes. The bedrooms carry on the theme of nature,  featuring parkland greens and a “multitude” of textures including luxurious fabrics, timbers and geometric leaf carpets.

The lobby area is set to be a “welcoming, sun drenched, multi-functional space” that will “encourage guests and the local community to relax, unwind and pull up a chair in the bar, lounge or coffee areas”.

General Manager Lee Goodman said: “Being next door to the tube station that will be served by Crossrail, places this fabulous new hotel right on the map for both business and leisure guests.

“We are the gateway between London and Essex, five stops from Stratford Westfield shopping centre and six stops from Liverpool Street station. We are also only seven miles from London City Airport which is hugely convenient.”
