Situated 30 minutes from the centre of Edinburgh, the seaside town of North Berwick in East Lothian is located on Scotland’s Golf Coast.

The region holds 21 courses spread along 30 miles of coastline, including championship courses such as Muirfield, Gullane, the Renaissance and North Berwick itself.

Brian Sheldon, regional director at Christie and Co, who is handling the sale, said: “The chance to buy an established and highly-coveted hotel in the heart of Scotland’s golfing country, which captures local, national and international clientele, doesn’t come around very often.

“This is the first time the hotel has come on the market in 62 years. It’s an opportunity not to be missed.”
