Preferred Hotel Group rebrands to Preferred Travel Group

The news comes in addition to the announcement that Preferred Travel Group has recently become a signatory of the Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism

Preferred Hotel Group, the parent company of the independent hotel brand, Preferred Hotels and Resorts; sustainable hotel brand Beyond Green, and travel and tourism consultancy brand, PTG Consulting has rebranded to Preferred Travel Group.

Officially announced at ILTM Cannes, the company said the “nuanced yet important change” to Preferred’s corporate identity is designed to “more accurately describe the company’s growing suite of services and expertise”, which to date includes six hospitality, travel and sustainability brands, marking the company’s evolution beyond hotels and a growing influence within the wider travel industry.

The news comes in addition to the announcement that Preferred Travel Group has recently become a signatory of the Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism.

The Glasgow Declaration encourages the acceleration of climate action in tourism by securing commitments to reduce emissions in tourism by at least 50% over the course of this decade and achieve Net Zero as soon as possible before 2050.
