The Inn Collection Group has announced that The Swallow Falls Hotel will become The Swallow Falls Inn when it reopens later in 2023.
The hotel based in Betsw-y-Coed was purchased by ICG in December 2021 and became its first Welsh acquisition.
The company recently submitted plans for an “extensive” refurbishment of the property.
As part of the refurbishment a fresh identity has also been created for the venue as applications have been opened for the position of general manager.
Following the brand style for all ICG sites, the new look for The Swallow Falls Inn has a coat of arms containing iconography associated with the surrounding area.
Contractors are set to be announced and enabling works beginning in earnest ahead of an anticipated granting of planning permission.
Catherine Bellhouse, ICG recruitment manager, said: “The Inn Collection Group’s transformation is set to begin soon so I am delighted to open up applications for its very first general manager.
“It goes without saying that this is a very special role that will need a very special GM and the appointment will be made well in advance of the Inn opening, so the successful candidate will be heavily involved in getting everything ship shape to welcome our customers with open arms.”
She added: “We’re a previous winner of the Best Pub Employer category at The Publican awards and we have a range of benefits including 50% off food in any of our Inns, a third off room bookings all year round and a comprehensive employee assistance programme. It’s an exciting time to join The Inn Collection Group and this is a key role that it is going to be very exciting to fill.”
