Andaz London appoints two assistant directors

Hyatt’s Andaz London Liverpool Street has appointed Francesca Coluzzi and Hannah Jeal as assistant directors within its Sales and Events teams.

After working in the hospitality industry in London, Coluzzi spent the last 16 years working for Hilton in Rome, starting as a F&B manager and rising to head of Groups and Conferences for two hotels.

Now, at Andaz London, she has landed the role of assistant director of sales. Coluzi will manage the hotel’s sales plans and monitor its growth within the local marketplace, driving the best client experience while ensuring profitability for the hotel.

Coluzzi said: “I am looking forward to continuing to grow within the company and supporting Andaz London with their ambitious plans and working closely with the fantastic sales team.”

Having previously held the position of Weddings and Social Events manager, Andaz London has also promoted Hannah Jeal to assistant director of events.

In her new role, she will work closely with the operations team to create and execute successful events. She originally began her career in insurance, and with the encouragement of friends, pursued her dream of working in weddings, which eventually led to her employment at Andaz London.

Jeal said: “I am delighted to join the Andaz London team and am looking forward to getting to know my colleagues and settling into the role. I get immense satisfaction from customer service and enjoy the thrill of creating and delivering successful events as well as the variety and challenges that the hospitality industry brings.”

Director of Sales and Marketing, Maria Cunha, added: “We are extremely excited to have both Francesca and Hannah on board and seeing what they bring to their teams. Q1 is looking to be a very notable time for both the sales and events teams at Andaz London, so we especially look forward to watching them shine in their new roles ahead of upcoming events and activations.”
