QHotels Collection joins The British Culinary Federation

The British Culinary Federation, a member of WorldChefs and responsible for England’s National Culinary Teams, has strong links with the industry

The QHotels Collection has become a member of The British Culinary Federation, an internationally recognised association that is said to be one of the most active chefs’ organisations in the country.

The group said it was “delighted” to join the industry accredited association, as its membership means its chef teams can be involved with an “exclusive community”, and partake in national competitions.

It said they can also “have their voice heard within the evolving hospitality industry, helping to be a part of a developing future for chefs”.

The British Culinary Federation, a member of WorldChefs and responsible for England’s National Culinary Teams, has strong links with the industry and its ties include schools, colleges, universities and the support of an expanding number of professional supply companies.

It is also involved in various competitions and initiatives, providing both the organisation and judging skills required for continued success.

The membership also supports connecting groups around industry trends, challenges and solutions. This incorporates annual meetings to help guide the industry, and quarterly events for discussions, networking and thought leadership initiatives.

William Guthrie, group executive head chef at The QHotels Collection, said: “We are very pleased to have been invited to become a member of The British Culinary Federation.  It shows that we are serious about wanting to showcase what food we offer and what we’ve achieved over recent F & B developments at The QHotels Collection.

“Our senior chef teams love to see the next generation develop and progress in this great industry and being a member of The BCF helps us to progress these opportunities we have for young talent, alongside supporting us to strive for better.”

BCF President, Peter Griffiths MBE, added: “We are delighted that The QHotels Collection, a group of hotels which strives for excellence and exacting standards, has joined The British Culinary Federation. We very much look forward to working more closely with them to help benefit both parties.”
