Rockliffe Hall in County Durham has announced the launch of its New Hall bedrooms as part of its ongoing renovations.
The rooms’ new look include king-size beds and velvet sofas designed by fabric company Warwick.
Each of the New Hall rooms are south-facing, giving views over the hotel’s landscaped gardens and golf course.
They also include a new dressing area with artwork designed by Surfacephilia, which created large abstract prints.
Jason Adams, managing director, said: “Naturally, our rooms are of the utmost importance to Rockliffe Hall as this is where guests establish their impression of the hotel and spend most of their stay. We now have a beautiful New Hall, tailored specifically for Rockliffe Hall’s discerning visitors, in which decor, comfort, lighting and features that guests actually want come together to create a harmonious environment where they can relax, indulge and enjoy themselves.
“The design by Cocoon and Bauer celebrates the timeless appeal of Rockliffe Hall and local craftspeople, all whilst incorporating the modern amenities that make a hotel stay feel more special than a night at home.”
Alongside this, the hotel’s 10 Old Hall suites, Orangery restaurant, two meeting rooms, drawing room and cocktail bar will close in January 2024 for refurbishment.
