Homewood Hotel to undergo £500k spa development

In addition, a bespoke meeting and events space will be created with work scheduled to start on these projects in 2025

Homewood Hotel has announced a £500k investment into the expansion of its spa and wellness offering.

The development includes a 32 sqm heated vitality pool, experience showers and a brand-new relaxation room.

The significant spa investment follows a continued increase in wellness tourism and immersive spa experience bookings for the hotel.

As well as this, the hotel has added additional pool seating and a brand-new outdoor sauna.

Launching Summer 2024, this marks a new milestone in Homewood’s wellness journey after the launch of two spa suites and Ice Bath Retreat in 2023.

Following on from this launch, the next phase of development will see the creation of six brand new 50sqm spa suites, featuring private gardens with hot tubs, plunge pools and saunas.

In addition, a bespoke meeting and events space will be created with work scheduled to start on these projects in 2025.

Ed Fitzpatrick, general manager, said: “We are delighted to unveil our plans to expand the spa offering at Homewood. With work well underway, the spa development marks the start of a phased capital investment project to cement Homewood as a leading boutique hotel.”

“The project sees the addition of a brand-new vitality hydrotherapy pool, experience shower and poolside sauna, along with a relaxation room with views of the Avon Valley. As a result of this project, our spa will become a year-round facility allowing us to deliver a better guest journey and an increased membership.”
