Holiday Inn Express in Leeds has completed an extensive upgrade programme costing in excess of £1.3m.

Owned by Starboard Hotels, the property led by GM Richard McKie, remained fully operational throughout the renovation, which has resulted in upgrades to all bedrooms, conference facilities and the public areas.

The hotel now also features a “state-of-the-art” contemporary interior with a new cafe and bar area, together with three conference rooms.

McKie said: “We are really proud to welcome guests to our hotel and the feedback on the hotel’s new look has been extremely positive. The project enabled us to use many local suppliers and contractors to carry out the work.

“Our guests love the ambience and appreciate the ability to be able to relax, meet friends or business colleagues in a welcoming environment so close to the city centre.”
