Warwick Castle glampers to enjoy free WiFi

We discuss why 2026 may be seen as a pivotal year for boutique hotels, unpack the rise of global nomadism and how this is shaping demand and trends across hospitality, and how a strong team and clear, consistent messaging and offerings are key to securing investment.

Warwick Castle has today announced the roll-out of a free WiFi service across its Mediaeval Glamping site to help visitors make the most of their stay.

The WiFi, provided by The Cloud network provider, will allow people to stream movies and music, upload photos or videos onto social media and access other online services to share the fun with friends and family.

Warwick Castle’s Mediaeval Glamping evokes a bygone era with canvas bell tents, banqueting, and entertainment such as archery and a Jester School.

Sue McCreadie, marketing managaer at the castle, said: “Mediaeval Glamping is a memorable experience and our guests don’t want to have to wait until they return home to share pictures and stories from their stay.

“If your child is taking part in archery lessons, that’s the kind of moment you want to share instantly and we knew we needed to help people do that. Offering free WiFi enables visitors to share the highlights of their stay. We’re delighted to be bringing WiFi to the mediaeval world.”

The roll-out is the latest in The Cloud’s expansion within the attractions market, and extends the WiFi provider’s partnership with the Merlin Entertainments group. Other major sites in the UK which offer free internet access include Alton Towers and Chessington World of Adventures.

Vince Russell, managing director at The Cloud, said: “A recent study showed that one in three mobile users go on Twitter whilst in social situations. For a family attraction, sharing the fun in the moment is part of the visit.”
