JA Resorts and Hotels has announced plans to upgrade several properties across its Dubai portfolio this summer, ahead of the opening of a sports and shooting club.
The hospitality brand plans to renovate its beachfront locations and its resort in the Al Hajar Mountains to elevate guest experiences.
At the JA Ocean View Hotel in JBR, a full façade restoration will begin this month to maintain the property along the beachfront.
The company will also update its leisure offerings at JA The Resort in Jebel Ali between this summer and the fourth quarter of 2026. This project focuses on transforming Club Joumana, which will feature a refreshed clubhouse and an upgraded sports café for guests and residents.
At the JA Hatta Fort Hotel, the firm is developing a phased masterplan to expand its nature-led escape within the Al Hajar Mountains.
Phase one introduces a new exclusive area within the property, with interior design refinements nearing completion and phased works starting this summer.
The wider development plan includes refurbished guestrooms, enhanced dining experiences, revitalised public spaces and a new wellness centre at the mountain property.
Ralph Porciani, chief executive of JA Resorts and Hotels, said: “At JA, our focus has always been on creating experiences that guests return to, time and again. These enhancements reflect how we continue to evolve our properties with care, ensuring they remain relevant, while retaining the familiarity and warmth our guests value.
“As we look ahead, we remain committed to investing in our portfolio in a way that reflects both our heritage and the expectations of today’s traveller.”
