The Columbia hotel in Inverness, Scotland, has been acquired by Seacare Hospitality off a guide price in excess of £7m.
The 82-bedroom property, which dates back to the 1800s, features two restaurants, a bar, meeting rooms and an executive lounge.
Located in the historic centre of Inverness, the hotel offers views of the city’s castle and the River Ness and will be operated by Compass Hospitality following the sale.
Tom Cunningham, hotels director at Savills, which handled the sale of the property on behalf of Pearkhal Properties, said: “This highly profitable, four-star hotel attracted strong market interest and we are pleased with the swift result achieved on behalf of our client.”
