The Holt Lodge Hotel in Wrexham has raised £700 for the Teenage Cancer Trust after the local community gathered at the property for a bonfire and firework display.
Hundreds of people from the local community and the Wrexham area attended the event on Friday 4 November, where they watched a firework and bonfire display and enjoyed a hog roast and barbecue.
The event raised more than £700 for the Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity that provides expert treatment and support to young people aged 13 to 24 who have been diagnosed with cancer.
Sarah Tunstall, sales and marketing manager at the hotel, said: “Holt Lodge Hotel is always keen to get involved in events that bring our local community together. We thought hosting a bonfire with a firework display would be a nice way to do just that and we were thrilled so many people came out on a cold evening to support us and the Teenage Cancer Trust.
“Residents and businesses in and around Holt were extremely generous, with many delivering firewood and helping to man stalls.”
