London Marriott Hotel Regents Park unveils multi-million pound renovation

The London Marriott Hotel Regents Park has unveiled its new multi-million pound renovation.

The renovation includes the transformation of its lobby, executive lounge and meeting and events spaces, while the final stages of its extensive bedroom refurbishment are set to be completed by September.

With the introduction of seven new rooms, 49” smart TVs with Apple TV, international power outlets and walk-in raindance showers, the investment sees changes to both the configuration and interior design with local London and neighbouring villages and parks used as inspiration.

As part of the refurbishment, the hotel’s new meetings and events space was finished in October 2016 and includes the introduction of engaging technology and flexible working environments.

An additional four meeting rooms have been added to the existing lobby level space and the hotel’s largest event space, Primrose Hill, has undergone a transformation to introduce natural daylight.

The room now offers a capacity of up to 300 people, equipped with innovative technology, such as remote-control projectors and screens, as well as an integrated sound and PA system.

Dedicated zones in the newly renovated lobby now provide space for guests to “unwind, socialise and connect”, while the first hotel-based Carluccio’s restaurant opened on the lobby level with a bar and outdoor terrace.

Tony Owen, general manager, said: “We’re thrilled to be able to provide a ‘first look’ at our new offering, which has been a large and exciting investment for the business.

“We recognise that modern traveller needs are constantly changing and the new refurbishment ensures that our offering falls in line with these demands. A key growing consumer trend is wellness and, coupled with ever-evolving technology, it’s vital that we constantly deliver the best possible experience for our guests.”
