The prestigious Montcalm Marble Arch Hotel, in London, has been awarded an AA 5-star hotel rating for exceptional service, accommodation, restaurants and spa.
Receiving a Merit Score of 81 per cent for its luxurious accommodation and public areas helped the hotel achieve its improved status as a 5-star hotel.
It boasts 200 rooms, butler service, 24-hour room service; the latest in design and in-room technology; a stunning spa and wellness centre; and exceptional fine dining at two different bar and restaurants.
The 5-star grading was met with pride by managing director of the Montcalm, Ramesh Arora, who said: “We are delighted our outstanding attention to detail and the team’s hard work has been rewarded in such a prestigious manner.
“The Montcalm Mable Arch is superbly run by our excellent general manager Sabine Altschaeffl, who, with our outstanding team, ensures every guest’s experience is truly exceptional.”
Hard work and the hotel’s investment were also recognised by the AA’s group area manager, Giovanna Grossi. “We are delighted to recognise the Montcalm Marble Arch as a 5-star hotel. The team has worked long and hard and invested heavily to achieve the excellent level for quality and high standards required to achieve 5-star,” she commented.
The Montcalm Group is opening two more hotels in 2013, the Montcalm Signature Tower London City and the Montcalm Finsbury Square – both in London.
