Park Plaza London Waterloo has opened its doors as the biggest hotel opening in the capital this year.
With 494 rooms, the hotel is set to become a “new sanctuary for London adventures” and an “ideal choice” for those wanting to sightsee.
The new hotel features superior rooms, studio rooms and one bedroom suites, its destination all-day dining and bar Florentine and an exclusive executive lounge. It also offers the ‘Illy’ cafe, a Mandara Spa and a gym with swimming pool.
It has six meeting rooms suitable for conferences and corporate functions.
Axel Krueger, general manager at the new hotel, said: “We are delighted to announce that the newest addition to the South Bank is now fully open for business.
“Joining four neighbouring four Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts’ properties on the South Bank, we are within easy access of landmarks including the London Eye and Imperial War Museum which proves ideal timing as London’s tourism industry continues to boom.”
He added: “It’s an exciting time for the South Bank’s development pipeline and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”
