London-based hospitality startup Inploi, is celebrating a £500,000 increase in funding 18 months after its launch.
The platform, which links workers to trusted employers in the hospitality industry, has raised its total funding to £1m since its set up in November 2015.
The platform is accessible on the web or on Android or IOS devices. It uses an AI-driven algorithm to match candidates to suitable jobs.
Inploi has seen its registered users grow at 40-50% month on month and now boasts a roster of 10,000 users.
Its clients include boutique hotels The Chiltern Firehouse and The Distillery and hotel recruitment agencies Human One and Quadrant Recruitment.
Alex Hanson-Smith, co-founder and CPO, said, “Recruitment in sectors with high staff turnover is beset with legacy technology and a poor user experience.
“The way candidates expect to access information and discover opportunities has changed – we’re giving our customers the tools to keep up”.
Matthew de la Hey, co-founder, added, “We’re grateful for the backing and support of our investors who believe in the team and our vision for Inploi.
“We’re now able to consolidate the progress made to date, accelerate our growth, and further deliver on our value proposition”.
