Doubletree by Hilton Leeds has welcomed guests to the opening of its new kitchen and bar, The Lock.
The eatery sits on the historic Leeds and Liverpool canal following a redesign of the former City Cafe.
It is located at the Granary Wharf mixed use development which was previously the ‘engine room’ of the city during the Industrial Revolution.
Martin Vann, general manager at the DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds, said: “The Lock kitchen and bar is all about creating a warm, friendly environment, where guests can while away the hours chatting with friends and family over homely food.
“The [restaurant’s] new look and fresh menu has completely transformed the space. The inviting atmosphere, along with the rich heritage and character of the surrounding area, makes [it] a unique experience whether you’re visiting Leeds for the first time or local looking for something new.”
