Rosy outlook for London hoteliers

More than one-third of London hotel rooms are already booked ahead of the Chelsea Flower Show, a leading hotel market intelligence provider has revealed.

As the Chelsea Flower Show prepares to celebrate its centenary year, TravelClick has shown occupancy rates during the show have increased 11.5 per cent on the 2012 dates. The UEFA Champions League final, which takes place at Wembley during the Flower Show, has contributed to an occupancy rate of 50.4 per cent for Saturday 25 May.

TravelClick’s information is based on data compiled from 88 London hotels with a combined capacity of 18,588.
