Bleak House, a historic guest house in Broadstairs, Kent has been brought to the market by business property adviser, Christie & Co.
The Grade II listed mansion house was one of Charles Dickens’ favourite lodging houses during the summer months and is where he wrote his novel David Copperfield.
The hotel is located in one of the most prominent positions in Broadstairs and overlooks the town, beach and sea. It is also just a few minutes’ walk from the sandy Viking Bay.
The property is now a seven bedroom,five-star guest house and wedding venue with two licensed rooms for ceremonies and a restaurant/tea room.
As a wedding/function venue the property can hold up to 65 seated guests, buffet for up to 120 and up to 200 in a marquee.
