Hilton has reached an agreement to open its first Hampton by Hilton hotel in Manchester.
Hampton by Hilton Manchester Northern Quarter is expected to welcome its first guests in early 2020 under a franchise agreement with Create Developments.
The 221 guest room hotel will be managed by Redefine BDL Hotels, and joins more than 40 Hampton by Hilton hotels trading or under development in the UK.
The property will be located in the heart of the cosmopolitan Northern Quarter – on the corner of Rochdale Road and Sharp Street – the new build hotel sits close to bars, restaurants and cultural attractions including the 21,000 seat capacity Manchester Arena, Printworks leisure destination and Arndale shopping centre.
Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president, development, EMEA, Hilton said, “The regeneration of Manchester’s Northern Quarter has brought new investment into the city, resulting in a vibrant, creative neighborhood – the ideal location in which to introduce our first Hampton by Hilton hotel.
