Simon Drake appointed GM of Tamburlaine

Simon Drake has been appointed general manager of Cambridge luxury destination hotel, Tamburlaine.

Following two and a half years in London operating Hilton Hotel’s luxury lifestyle benchmark, the Conrad, Simon has set his sights on “creating the best luxury team and offering Cambridge has ever seen”.

Drake said: “I am delighted to have been approached by O’Callaghan Hotels to head up their flagship property, and look forward to leading the team to make Tamburlaine Cambridge’s luxury destination of choice.”

Eoin Likely, chief financial officer for O’Callaghan Hotels, added: “We are very pleased to have the expertise of Simon on board, and are excited for what his knowledge and experience will add to Tamburlaine.”
