Hotel group Christian Guild Hotels has placed Abbot Hall Hotel and Lindors Hotel on the property market.
Built in 1840, Abbot Hall Hotel, located in Grange-over-Sands in Cumbria features 36 bedrooms, a 14-bedroom bungalow and five 11-bedroom lodges. The hotel also has business and leisure facilities including a restaurant, coffee shop and two conference rooms.
Lindors Country House Hotel in Gloucestershire has 23 en-suite bedrooms, five separate lodges, three conference rooms and the Stowes restaurant. Lindors Country House Hotel is situated in the Wye Valley Area, close to the Dean forest.
Tom Cunningham, hotels team director at Savills, which is handling the sale, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed to sell these two historic hotels. Both are located in popular tourist destinations and benefit from a strong business and tourist trade, making them attractive to a range of prospective buyers.”
