The Greyhound Hotel, a popular wedding venue between Manchester and Liverpool, is up for sale for offers of around £2.95m.

The hotel and restaurant in Leigh, Lancashire, with 74 en-suite bedrooms, leisure facilities including a gym, sauna and swimming pool, banqueting and meeting rooms and parking for 135 vehicles has been put to market by Colliers on behalf of owners Here For You Hospitality .

The Greyhound, which achieved a turnover of £1.48m in the year-ended 31 December 2017, attracts both residents and local people to its pub and restaurant and is also a popular venue for weddings and events.

 The property is located adjacent to the roundabout at the intersection of the busy A580 East Lancs Road and Warrington Road with an average car count of 50,000 per day. It is close to the city centres of Manchester and Liverpool, its international airports and nearby attractions.
