Located on Chiltern Street in the heart of Marylebone Village, Holmes Hotel London has unveiled The Residence: a brand-new exclusive events venue within the hotel.

The Residence has been launched alongside the hotel’s existing meeting and events facilities, creating a new self-contained event space which is designed around the “ethos and etiquette of the historic townhouses above”.

The hotel said the interior provides an “immersive and inspiring” environment suitable for any occasion – be that an away-day for a creative team, an inspiring training venue, a launch event or a business pitch.

The residence includes five “unique” rooms – The Pantry, The Billiard Room, The Laboratory, The Conservatory and The Cellar. These facilitate up to 130 guests when hired together for exclusive use, or up to 20 when booked on an individual basis.

Each room is equipped with full AV capabilities such as hidden interactive LCD screens, web cams, Wi-Fi and floor to ceiling whiteboards. Two additional spaces – The Library and the Telegraph Room – are shaped with details that create “sought-after hideaways” for private moments or discrete phone calls.

The hotel added that the hotel’s existing meeting and events facilities allow it to cater for multi-functional events, providing space for up to an additional 80 guests, with multiple entrances for added privacy and flexibility.

Jennifer McCabe, general manager of Holmes Hotel London, said: “We are delighted to reveal The Residence, a project some years in the making that has exceeded all expectations. It is an incredible extension to our existing meetings and events offer that truly speaks for itself – long gone are plain boardrooms and open halls; we have introduced a space like no other.

“Through clever and creative use of design, integrating essential business tools into the fabric of the space – such as the write-on walls in the Laboratory – we have created an engaging and inspiring space for everyone who visits, and can’t wait to work with clients to ensure their meeting or event is a success.”
