The Ballachulish Hotel, located in Glencoe Scotland, has undergone a £1.3m refurbishment funded by its owners Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels.
The four-star hotel, which dates back to 1877, will officially reopen its doors on Monday 26 April 2021 following the easing of lockdown restrictions.
The cash injection has allowed the hotel to refurbish the 53 bedrooms and facilities of the hotel including restaurants.
Stephen Leckie, CEO of Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels, said that by investing in the Ballachulish Hotel, he has ensured that “guests can have the best experience possible beginning”.
He added: “We are committed to investing, not only in our portfolio but also in Scottish tourism as it begins to rebuild, and we look forward to opening our doors in the coming weeks.”
Ballachulish Hotel is located two hours from Glasgow and three from Edinburgh.
Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels includes Crieff Hydro, Peebles Hydro, Murraypark Hotel in Crieff, The Park Hotel in Peebles, Taypark House in Dundee, The Isles of Glencoe, Ballachulish Hotel and Kingshouse Hotel also in Glencoe.
