The Beaumont Hotel in London’s Mayfair has announced that it will be reopening on 20 August with considerable changes and expansions on its design.
The hotel also said that along with a brand-new bar, lounge and al fresco dining terrace, the Beaumont’s Art Deco interiors have been rethought and refurbished by the New York-based designer Thierry Despont and London-based architects Reardon Smith, adding “new layers of comfort and luxury”.
There have also been additional changes to two other areas of the hotel. The Gatsby room, formally a bar space, is now an “intimate” all-day dining space. The Le Margarrite Bar, the Beaumont’s main bar space specialising in bourbons, American whiskies and classic cocktails, has also been redesigned and relocated.
Furthermore, al fresco drinking and dining will now be possible throughout the day and evening on a new, sheltered outdoor terrace facing Brown Hart Gardens.
An entirely new one or two-bedroom Mayfair Suite has also been created on the first floor overlooking Brown Hart Gardens. And, finally, the Beaumont Spawill reportedly benefit from the enlargement of the gymnasium and the addition of an extra treatment room.
