The Cloud Hotel in Brockenhurst, New Forest has been brought to market for £2.35m.
The site was originally built in the early 1900’s, and forms two pairs of residential cottages.
It features 17 letting rooms with restaurant and other communal areas, and sits on a 0.274 acre (0.11 ha) site with parking provided to the side of the hotel.
Planning permission has been granted to convert the property back to its original state as four cottages with an eight bedroom B&B, tea rooms and manager’s house.
The property is located in the village of Brockenhurst and is situated within the New Forest National Park.
The village is 15 miles west of Southampton and 18 miles east of Bournemouth. The location is well connected with the A337 leading to the A31 and the M27 motorway and rail services to London Waterloo from Brockenhurst, a mainline station between Weymouth and Southampton.
Adam Bullas, director in the Licensed Leisure team at Savills Southampton, who brought it to market on behalf of private clients, said: “This is a great opportunity to acquire a New Forest Hotel in a stunning position within the National Park.
“It will appeal to both operators looking to continue trading the hotel or alternatively operators/developers looking to implement the planning permission and rationalise the number of bedrooms whilst at the same time creating four attractive cottages.”
