It said Ballard will oversee the 108-apartment serviced residence located in London’s new Islington Square neighbourhood. Originally from Australia, he brings over 14 years’ experience in the hospitality industry in both front line and managerial roles, where he has led “high performing teams” in hotels in London and Australia.
The group said Ballard has been working at The Ascott Limited since 2017 and has experience in developing new processes through training and key skills in cost analysis, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Prior to his appointment, he worked at Ascott’s The Cavendish London hotel as front of house manager and operations manager. Ballard also worked at Club Tropical Resort Darwin, Rydges Melbourne, and Crown Metropol Perth.
