The four-star Fermain Valley Hotel located on a clifftop in Guersney’s St Peter Port has been brought to market with a guide price of £9m.

Set in three acres of land in a clifftop position, the hotel features 45 bedrooms, public areas, indoor swimming pool, large alfresco terrace private cinema and modern events rooms.

The property also includes a three-bedroom cottage and 54 staff bedrooms spread across onsite and nearby properties, and has direct access to Guernsey’s cliff paths and leads down to Fermain Bay beach.

Guernsey currently has an estimated 415,000 annual visitors and total visitor spend of circa £250 million. The property is being brought to market by Colliers International.

Paul Barrasford, director in the hotels agency team at Colliers International, said: “This is a rare opportunity to acquire a hotel and associated properties in one of the island’s most picturesque locations. The hotel’s product offering is fantastic and supports an impressive trading performance, whilst the array of ancillary properties offers significant development potential. We expect to receive a substantial level of interest in this exciting opportunity.”

The Fermain Valley has as an enviable reputation for some of the best food and beverage offerings and quality of service on island.

“The hotel offers a complete booking solution with ATOL licence able to book flights and hotel to ensure it yields some of the island’s highest occupancy and yields.”
