CBRE places Usher’s Quay Hotel development on market for £7m

Alongside the rooms, the hotel site has permission for restaurant and bar facilities extending to approx.150 sqm

CBRE has announced it has placed the Usher’s Quay Hotel Site, Dublin 8, on the market off a guide price of £7m.

The hotel development site has planning permission to develop a 100-bedroom hotel with the site also enjoying a” high-profile location” overlooking the renowned River Liffey.  

Alongside the rooms, the hotel site has permission for restaurant and bar facilities extending to approx.150 sqm. CBRE added that once developed the hotel will extend to approx. 4,046 sqm.

The site is also located only a short walk to many of the city’s main attractions including Temple Bar, Trinity College, Guinness Storehouse, St. Stephen’s Green, O’Connell Street and Grafton Street.

Alexandra Sheeran, senior analyst, CBRE, said: “Usher’s Quay Hotel site is an exceptional development opportunity for parties to develop a midscale/upscale hotel located in the south inner city close to a host of local facilities. 

“Dublin has seen a total of five significant hotel transactions totalling over €315m (£264m) year to date demonstrating the strong pent-up demand from international parties and brands looking to invest in the city.”
