Clayton Hotel Bristol City has announced the appointment of Laura Weare as director of Sales and Marketing ahead of its opening later this Spring.
The new four-star Clayton Hotel Bristol City is located in the Old City district at the medieval walls of St Johns, within the Grade ll listed Everards’s Printing Works building.
The design of the 255-bedroom hotel celebrates Bristol’s links to art whilst “restoring a piece of local history”. Weare said she is “confident” that the Clayton Hotel Bristol City will make an impact in the area with its “warm and friendly brand of hospitality”.
Weare has been working in hospitality for 25 years after starting out as a waitress in the family business.
She said: “I love working in Bristol. The opportunity to open a new hotel in the city is a rare opportunity and one I didn’t want to miss, especially after seeing the plans to restore the beautiful façade of the Everards Print works.
“In my role its always great to have a property that tells a story, and this hotel certainly does that, from the restoration work through to the public art and walkthrough.”
She added: “The biggest pull for me was Dalata Hotel Group as a company. Dalata service and values very much align with my own and it feels like a natural fit.
“It is a great time to join Dalata, especially with the planned UK expansion and the genuine commitment to their people and their development, there is something really unique to the brand.”
