Focus Hotels Management names Lynn Hood as new CEO
With previous experience at board level with the award-winning City Inn group, Focus said Hood is ‘perfectly poised’ to deliver future growth aspirations for the third-party management company
Focus Hotels Management has named Lynn Hood as its new CEO, succeeding Peter Cashman who has stepped up to become group chairman.
A seasoned hotelier, Hood joined Focus Hotels in 2019 from her own consultancy business, Hotel Prosperity Ltd, where she spent eight years working with key clients such as Westmont Hospitality Group, De Vere Hotels, RBH and KSL Capital partners.
With previous experience at board level with the award-winning City Inn group, Focus said Hood is “perfectly poised” to deliver future growth aspirations for the third-party management company.
Cashman said: “Lynn has successfully steered Focus Hotels through the recent pandemic and our results speak for themselves. Since joining us, Lynn has demonstrated that she is the right person to continue to deliver as we move into a more challenging trading cycle.’’
Focus Hotels management specialise in turnaround situations and it said the company is poised to help “hoteliers struggling with what is set to be a very challenging time”.
Hood added: “I am extremely proud to take on the role of CEO and to continue building on the firm foundations that have been established over the past few difficult years. When Peter was CEO, he emphasised our commitment towards creating owner value and a sustainable business platform, which is a vision I share and will continue to realise as I step into his shoes.”
