Cameron House has revealed its pre-tax losses have narrowed to £8.85m, down from £11.59m.
Following a fire that destroyed the main building at Cameron House Resort in 2017, the resort was able to reopen and resume full trading in September 2021.
The report ended 31 December 2021 from CMH Investment (UK), which owns and manages Cameron House Resort (Loch Lomond) and Cameron House Lodges, details increased turnover from £6.1m in 2020 to £13m last year.
The group credited COP26 in Glasgow in November for its increased turnover, stating the event “contributed to a strong average room rate”, however Covid-19 Omicron outbreak around the key festive period delayed the reopening and reduced footfall.
The group is currently working on a 68-bedroom extension to the main hotel and a banqueting facility scheduled to open later this year.
