The Old Ship Hotel, located on Brighton’s seafront, has won the ‘Best Customer Service’ award at the Brighton & Hove Business Awards (BAHBAs).
The hotel, part of The Cairn Collection, was awarded the accolade by judges for its “excellent attention detail when dealing with customers” and for “going the extra mile” for guests to improve their experience.
Judges said they were impressed with staff’s attitude towards guests and their ‘three metre’ rule, which ensures staff members greet every customer who passes within three metres.
The Cairn Hotel Group is a family-owned business headquartered in Newcastle, with 50-years’ experience in the industry.
General manager Paul Wright said: “We’re thrilled to have won the best customer service award at the Brighton & Hove Business Awards. It’s fantastic recognition for the hotel team and all of their hard work, and reinforces our place as a leading hotel within the Brighton market.”
