Doubletree by Hilton, Dartford Bridge, has completed a major refurbishment following a multi-million investment, as well as a brand-new food and beverage offering inspired by suppliers within the local community.
The hotel, managed by leading hotel investment and management company Klarent Hospitality, has overseen the “significant enhancement” of its accommodation offering and the creation of much-needed additional capacity, particularly ahead of the celebratory Christmas period.
The investment has increased capacity to 185 bedrooms, with each newly designed room undergoing a complete refurbishment featuring new bathrooms furnishing.
In addition, the transformation includes a new food and beverage concept to complement the existing dining facilities. The enhanced Cask and Thames Bar and Kitchen gives hotel guests and customers a taste of the best of what local producers in Kent have to offer.
Karthick Srinivasan, general manager of Doubletree by Hilton, Dartford Bridge, said: “We are delighted to unveil our completed new look for Doubletree by Hilton, Dartford Bridge, after 11 months of hard work by our employees and business partners.
“Our newly enhanced, Cask and Thames, bar and restaurant has been an exciting project to be a part of, encompassing the finest local produce and beverages Kent has to offer, particularly following the impact of the past several years; it is a great opportunity to support and spread the word on great local produce and beverages.”
He added: “In particular, we’re proud of the newly launched Keeping it Kent programme, partnering with local food and beverage providers to share with guests and customers the best of what local producers have to offer from well-known suppliers, such as Meopham Vineyards, Tonbridge Brewery, Gray and Sons Butchers, and Taywells Ice Cream.
“The addition of new stylish bedrooms will allow us to host even more guests throughout the year and offer a reliable and relaxing environment for Kent’s visitors to retreat to after a long day of exploring everything Kent has to offer. This major investment in both our capacity and offering will significantly enhance the guest offering and customer experience.”
