Glencoe Inn, which is part of the Scottish hospitality group Crerar Hotels, has earned an AA five gold star rating for their self-catering accommodation, Island View House.
The luxurious cottage, which first opened its doors in the summer of 2021, received the gold self-catering status following a visit from judges in January.
The prestigious rating awarded Island View House with an overall merit score of 92%, whilst inspectors commented on the general aesthetics of the accommodation.
The property, which has views of Loch Leven, has five bedrooms and sleeps up to 10 guests, with spaces such as a lounge with a log fire, a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor hot tub and garden.
Guests of Island View House will also get cotton bed linens, towels and toiletries, as well as Wi-Fi, a Nespresso machine and a complimentary welcome basket of Tunnock’s treats, board games and books.
Scott Kennedy, general manager of the Glencoe Inn, said: “We are delighted to have received the top rating for Island View House. Whilst exploring the Highlands, the accommodation is the ideal place for family and friends looking for more space to enjoy their holiday in the heart of Glencoe.
“As well as giving guests multiple dining choices including dining in or takeaway, just like the inn, our self-catering accommodation also welcomes four-legged friends so the whole family can get away.”
