The Gore London and The Pelham London, both part of Starhotels Collezione, have appointed new hotel managers to their respective teams.
J-J Pollak and Niccolò Consigli joined the hotels in January 2023. Having spent over a decade working within luxury hospitality, they will both be responsible for the planning, directing and coordinating of the hotel’s day-to-day operations.
Pollak and Consigli will focus their attention on “details, quality and excellence to ensure an outstanding experience for each and every guest”.
Pollak joins the group after almost four years at Hazlitt’s Hotels, where he ran Batty Langley’s in Shoreditch. After graduating from a hospitality management course at Bournemouth University, he began working at Bailiffscourt Hotel and Spa as assistant restaurant manager, and later front of house manager. He was later promoted to general manager of its sister hotel, The Spread Eagle Hotel and Spa in Midhurst.
Meanwhile, before returning to London, Consigli had moved back to Florence where he worked for Lungarno Collection and the Hilton business.
He later worked at the Millenium Mayfair Hotel in London, and then became hotel manager of the property owned by New World Hospitality Ltd and then cluster general manager of My Chelsea, from the same collection.
