The Landmark London unveils £1.3m renovation for F&B spaces

The Landmark London, a five-star hotel in Marylebone, has undergone a £1.3m renovation across its drinking and dining destinations. The renovations include the addition of a Champagne Bar on the previous Garden Terrace and elevated features to its Winter Garden Restaurant. This follows the launch of Great Central Pub by Matt Fletcher which was completed in late 2022. The new Champagne Bar is described as the “jewel in the crown” of the luxury hotel’s new look, serving up a wide range of champagnes including Taittinger. In the evening, a range of small plates will be served, and a high tea will also be available. A design team at Alex Kravetz Design worked to capture CEO and general manager, Fergus Stewart’s “vision to open up the space and create a visually stunning destination bar”. The bar features a plant-lined glass gazebo, and rich fabrics and furnishings that decorate the terrace. The environment consists of rich blues, greens, and golds. Meanwhile, the Winter Garden Restaurant has also undergone a renovation. The space’s “famous” palm trees have been modernised, introducing new freeze-dried fronds from Spain. The Winter Garden has also updated its traditional uniforms. The renovations come as the Great Central Pub by Matt Fletcher, the hotel’s new, modern British gastropub, was completed late last year. Fletcher’s menus offer old pub classics with a “modern twist”, alongside locally sourced beers and an extensive wine list. The vibrant colour palette is the perfect blend of tradition and innovation, and the meticulous attention to the lighting design has come together to create a timeless and contemporary space.”
