Reuben Brothers acquire the Curtain Hotel in London

Real estate investment firm The Reuben Brothers has acquired all of the share capital of the company owning the Curtain Hotel and Members Club in Shoreditch.

The £90m acquisition will see the hotel continue to be managed by New York hotelier Michael Achenbaum and his partner Jeffrey Levine.

The property comprises over 115,000 sq ft of space over six stories with 120 luxury bedrooms and suites, a private members’ club, a rooftop pool and restaurant overlooking the City skyline.

The purchase follows Reuben Brothers’ acquisition earlier this month of 47,48, and 49-50 Poland Street in London’s Soho, which has planning consent for redevelopment into a hotel with restaurant and bar space consisting of over 74,000 sq ft over two basement levels, ground and six upper floors.
