Luxury Lodges, a collection of five-star self-catering resorts has launched Milk Wood Spa at its South Wales site, Dylan Coastal Resort.
Both guests of lodges and owners of residences are allowed to use the spa facilities at Milk Wood Spa, set in Milk Wood House.
The Milk Wood Spa includes a heated, outdoor hydrotherapy infinity pool which oversees the Taf Estuary, a large indoor pool, themed showers, a herbal steam room, Tepidarium, and a Mezzanine relaxation zone. It also features a gym which offers Technogym equipment.
Guests can opt for a personal spa by selecting one of many spa treatments in the private treatment rooms.
Milk Wood Spa has also partnered with spa and beauty brand, Isgha, which uses natural, sea-inspired treatments.
The new spa offers a 60-minute Ishga Invigorating Massage that uses special detoxifying seaweed body oil, a 60-minute Ishga Seaweed Body Wrap that uses a nourishing seaweed gel and powerful Hebridean sea salt and oil scrub, and the signature 120-minute Ishga Top to Toe ritual.
A range of “luxury” hand and foot treatments are also available.
To coincide with the spa’s launch, Dylan Coastal Resort has also partnered with qualified yoga instructor and specialist wellness coordinator, Paulina Ostrowskato to offer a series of yoga and meditation classes in Milk Wood Spa’s newly renovated Studio 72.
The yoga and meditation sessions will be available five days a week from 9am – 4pm. Ostrowskato is also offering a Candlelight Yoga session, from 4pm – 6pm.
Additionally, guests can access the dining facilities and outdoor spaces and terraces at Milk Wood House.
Upstairs, Milk Wood Kitchen and Bar serves a varied menu that uses “high quality”, seasonal produce and serves Welsh breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including rustic, handcrafted pizzas from the wood-fired pizza oven.
