The UK-based hospitality management company has been awarded the management contract for Weetwood Hall Estate, owned by the University of Leeds.

Weetwood Hall Estate includes a 17th-Century Jacobean manor house hotel, with additional and extensive hotel and conference facilities based in the north of the city.

The hotel has 114 bedrooms, Convive restaurant, Yorkshire Pub, The Stables and substantial meeting and events space.

7H said the appointment is an “exciting addition” to the Perth based company and a coming home for managing director Richard Ellison, who was born and raised in Yorkshire.

Ellison said: “We are delighted to be working with GM Steven Kershaw and the team at Weetwood Hall. The hotel has a rich history, great facilities and is set in a wonderful setting.

“The hotel is popular with both corporate and leisure guests and specialises in sports groups both professional and amateur due to its facilities and proximity to the university training and playing grounds, we look forward to supporting the team and stakeholders in improving the hotel’s position within its marketplace.”
