The five star Fairmont St Andrews resort has opened the doors to two exclusive Manor Homes in partnership with interior designer Russell Sage. 

The recently renovated Manor Homes offer bespoke residential retreats tailored for a “home from home” getaway. 

The first one, Queenask, is purposed for luxury family escapes, while the second, Kingask, is designed for elegant social gatherings. Both homes sit adjacent to each other within the resort’s 520-acre grounds and are within walking distance of the main hotel. 

The four-bedroom Queenask Manor Home comprises a welcoming entrance hall, a social sitting room, a whisky library and games area designed for family entertainment, a luxury dining room with a sunny bay window offering panoramic views of the Links, a spacious kitchen and a cinema room. 

The four bedrooms are each inspired by different themes and equipped with bathrooms. The master bedroom features a king size bed and leads into a walk-in dressing room and en-suite bathroom. 

Kingask, which also offers four bedrooms, comprises a light and airy hallway that leads to a curated library and games room, a sitting room, a dedicated Dram room, a spacious kitchen and an elegant dining room. 

Guests of both homes are invited to enjoy all of the resort’s restaurants and bars or can opt to receive a personal dining experience through a private chef. A “house caddie” is assigned exclusively to each home to provide an individual approach to the needs of the guests. 

Kai Winkler, general manager, said: “The Manor Homes offer an enhanced luxury residential experience complemented by designs and layouts which emanate the feeling of warmth, homely comfort and relaxation in the home of golf

“Both homes embody quintessential modern Scottish luxury and provide a private and cosy escape on the doorstep of the hotel’s vibrant atmosphere.”

Sage added: “I am delighted to contribute to the renovation of the Manor Homes at Fairmont St Andrews. The homes reflect the exciting, evolving vision at Fairmont and celebrates the brand’s unique appeal in this historic Scottish location.”
