Redcraig Lodges brought to market for £690k asking price

In this episode we speak to brothers Alex and Adrien Grosjean, young entrepreneurs who have recently acquired The Residence Inn by Marriott Manchester Piccadilly. We discussed the reasons why Manchester’s visitor market is booming, and their decision to invest in this area, why they see extended-stay accommodation as a major opportunity in what is one of the UK's fastest-growing cities, how they plan to enhance their portfolio of hotels, and their advice for the next generation of hospitality disruptors.

Redcraig Lodges in Bridge of Dee has been brought to market for an asking price of £690,000.

The listing includes four self-contained one-bedroom holiday lodges in a location ideally situated for Aberdeen, as well as separate detached four-bedroom owners’ accommodation.

The lodges have been formed by the redevelopment of a former steading building and provide a large double bedroom with shower room and open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room.

All of the lodges form a similar layout with electric under floor heating providing the main heat source.

In addition there is a detached two storey four bedroomed owners’ accommodation with a lounge, open plan kitchen diner and sunroom.

Furthermore, there is a substantial barn on site which provides storage facilities for the property and is available through separate negotiation.

Margaret Mitchell of DM Hall, which is overseeing the sales process, said: “Redcraig Lodges is an easily manageable lifestyle business capable of being income producing from day one. Viewing is strictly by appointment and arrangements can be made by contacting the business advisory team.”

DM Hall, now in its 126th year, has 23 offices across Scotland and earlier this summer expanded into the North of England with the acquisition of Hyde Harrington.
