Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars has appointed Edward Field as director of Sales and Marketing.
Transferring over from Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport, Field graduated with a degree in Events Management, and has gone on to hold various management positions in Sales and Marketing in London, New York and Amsterdam with Strand Place Hotel, Hilton Worldwide and ETC Venues.
His previous role as a director of Sales at Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport allowed him to build “valuable extensive experience” in the industry, international and domestic market knowledge and a deep network of global industry contacts.
His aim for 2024 is to continue to strategically reposition Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars as Hyatt’s newest 5-star property in London and support his team to deliver and exceed commercial results for the key stakeholders.
Field said: “I am incredibly excited about this new opportunity to move back to London as Director of Sales and Marketing for Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars. The opportunity to be a part of this ambitious new opening steeped in history in the heart of the City of London and build on the amazing work already done by the team is something I very much look forward to getting stuck into.
“I first started my sales career in London almost 10 years ago, and since then have been fortunate enough to work abroad in both New York and Amsterdam giving me a unique international perspective whilst learning and developing both my teams, but also myself. After 5 years away – it is definitely time to come home and start this new chapter with Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars and drive successes for 2024 and beyond.”
