Holiday Inn Express Liverpool has announced its grand opening in the historic Ropewalks area of Liverpool.
Boasting 125 rooms, the hotel provides a unique opportunity for guests to immerse themselves in the cultural heritage of the city while enjoying the convenience of modern amenities.
Creating many new jobs upon opening, the hotel team is led by general manager David Daily, who is a veteran of the IHG brand. He has been joined by Amanda Craggs as director of sales, who offers a wealth of local and regional experience.
Speaking about the opening, Daily said: “It’s been an absolutely fantastic experience opening the hotel. We appreciate the support we’ve received from our local community, and we’re excited for the opportunity to welcome guests for both business and leisure.”
Each room in the hotel features high-speed Wi-Fi, power showers, tea and coffee making facilities, a choice of pillows for personalised comfort, and a 43-inch TV for entertainment with chromecast. Select rooms are also pet-friendly.
Guests looking to do business during their stay can make use of the fully equipped meeting room which seats up to 12 people. The meeting room is located on the 7th floor, with floor to ceiling windows and offers views over the city. The room can also be used for private family gatherings.
The lobby has been designed to be enjoyed by all the hotel’s guests thanks to its “sleek and comfortable” seating options.
Designed by ICA architects and interior designers, the hotel is one of the next generation of Holiday Inn Express properties, and utilises modular technology for its 125 non-smoking bedrooms. It is the latest addition to the Molo Hotel Group.
Managing director Ross Morrow said: “We are thrilled to be adding another IHG hotel to our portfolio in the great city of Liverpool. The hotel offers a simple and smart solution for guests travelling whether for business, leisure, or a little bit of both.”
