Splendid Hospitality Group has secured a £232m club loan from OakNorth Bank and HSBC to support future growth. The loan will aid in extending the Hilton London Bankside hotel, adding 76 rooms to its existing 292-room capacity. Splendid Hospitality Group, a privately-owned hotel group with a portfolio of 24 hotels across the UK, plans to utilise the capital to continue delivering exceptional service and quality to its guests.

Voco St. David’s Cardiff has invested £650k in renovating its 7th floor, known as The Tiger Bay Floor. The renovation aims to provide an elevated stay experience for guests, offering enhanced amenities and panoramic views of Cardiff Bay. The hotel’s commitment to sustainability is reflected in its use of recycled materials and eco-friendly features. The investment is part of a broader multi-million pound plan to refurbish the entire hotel by 2026.

European hotel management company Cycas Hospitality has appointed Keith Griffiths as chief operating officer, Julia Harnischfeger to oversee operational direction in continental Europe, Jason Wischhoff as chief development officer, and Rosa Ceparano as chief financial officer.
